Petite and Grande Beune are tributaries of the Vézère. They contain rare and fragile environments such as peat bogs and reed beds and are home to several protected species
There are also a large number of renowned tourist sites along the way, such as the Château de Puymartin, but also those of Commarque and Laussel; the Cap Blanc shelter or the Combarelles, Fond de Gaume or Bernifal caves.
