We welcome Philippe Descola, anthropologist and Professor Emeritus at the Collège de France, for an exceptional meeting.
Organized by Sébastien Peytavie, Member of Parliament for the Dordogne, the Musée national de Préhistoire and the bookshop La Pelle aux Idées, this event will take the form of a round-table discussion entitled "Linking culture, territory and life in the Dordogne".
Drawing on the work of Philippe Descola, the discussion will address several themes: the transmission of knowledge, the different temporalities of culture and research, the relationship between nature and culture, and the place of culture in a territory like the Dordogne.
The meeting will conclude with a collective reflection: how can we make cultural venues spaces for encounters, dialogue and social ties in rural areas?
Registration required ? number of places limited
