Classified as "Historic Monument" in 1926, this Magdalenian prehistoric shelter joins on the right bank of the Beune, nearby Les Eyzies.
The remarkable sculpted bestiary of this rock shelter stretches across 13 of the 15 meters of its length. At the origin, the ochre of the cliff face probably lent its colour to the representations of horses, bison and various species of the deer family, which are superimposed in places.
