"Les Gisements et l’Abri du Poisson A series of rock shelters were discovered here in a small valley perpendicular to the Vézère Valley on the outskirts of Les Eyzies-de-Tayac in the Dorodgne. The complementary stratigraphies of the archaeological deposits of la Micoque, le Moustier, la Ferrassie and Laugerie-Haute offer a complete overview of nearly 300,000 years of human occupation in the Périgord.
