Festival Musique en Périgord : Quatuor Léonis-version enfants

The string quartet has always been considered by composers as their secret garden, an intimate space in which they deliver the very essence of their writing. In "Quartet Story ? the short history of the string quartet in music", Quatuor Leonis presents an anthology of extracts from the most significant works in the history of the string quartet, spanning almost two centuries of music (late 18th to late 20th century). Each extract is presented in a lively, documented manner by the members of the quartet. A unique opportunity to travel through the ages and meet the musicians, who invite youngsters to discover classical music through a fun and interactive activity.
